About The Role

As an IT Operations Manager at Tyfone, you will be expected to provide management and technical leadership for Tyfone’s Global IT team. The main focus will be ensuring the IT department runs at the optimum SLA while driving process improvements, managing budgets, and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

  • Leading the technology infrastructure strategy and executing the same for the company
  • Oversee the daily operations of Tyfone’s IT Operations department to ensure the functionality, availability, and security of Tyfone IT systems, data, backups, and communications for our digital banking platform.
  • Conducting product and vendor evaluations to ensure best-in-class technologies and partners
  • Supervise the reporting, auditing, and planning operations
  • Improve the existing procedures for outgoing and incoming resources and track inventory
  • Develop and adhere to the IT operations budget
  • Develop department policies, processes, and procedures documentation and provide internal training to the department and impacted end users
  • Manage the negotiations and contracts with vendors for IT Hardware and Services
  • Help the stakeholders by supporting and guiding them via the help desk and tracking the team’s SLA
  • Working with internal auditors and external consultants to conduct information security audits throughout the company
  • Manage and audit the security of the systems by keeping a check on user authentication and authorization
  • Manage the security of the company’s network by auditing logs of the firewalls and VPNs
  • Coordinate internal and external resources, timetables, budgets, and reporting to project stakeholders
  • Managing the security vendors for the implementation of security policies and procedures
  • Participating in the formulation of the company’s IT architecture and business plans
  • Building a culture of strong IT support for the success of the business


  • 6-8 years of work experience
  • Proven experience as IT Operations Lead or Manager
  • Good and effective communication and leadership skills
  • Good interpersonal skills to be able to relate with people from different units of the company across India and the US
  • Prior experience with systems and network installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on knowledge in managing
  • Windows and Mac systems
  • Active Directory management
  • Networks, firewalls and VPN
  • Google Suite
  • Security and compliance processes
  • Exposure to ITIL concepts and adoption
