Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Lead the product management function, providing strategic direction, guidance, and oversight to a team of product managers.
- Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and customer needs.
- Conduct market research, and competitive analysis, and gather customer insights to identify market opportunities and inform product decisions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure successful product delivery.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and prototypes, and effectively communicate product plans to stakeholders.
- Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer needs, business value, and technical feasibility.
- Drive the agile product development process, including sprint planning, backlog management, and release management.
- Define and track key product metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future iterations.
- Foster a culture of innovation, customer-centricity, and continuous improvement within the product management function.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics to inform product strategy and roadmap.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 10+ years in product management roles, preferably in the technology or fintech industry.
- Strong experience in leading and managing product teams, defining product strategy, and driving product roadmap.
- Deep understanding of product management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to balance customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on delivering high-quality products that meet customer needs.
- Experience working in the fintech or banking industry is highly desirable.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools is preferred.
- Product management certifications (e.g., CPM, AIPMM) are a plus.
