As the Senior Vice President of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our technology strategy. You will be responsible for leading a talented and diverse team of engineers, ensuring the successful development and delivery of our cloud-based banking solutions. You will collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to define the technical roadmap, drive innovation, and provide strategic guidance to support our business objectives. Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for the engineering organization, aligning it with the overall company strategy and goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary geographically dispersed team of software engineers, data scientists, and machine learning specialists.
  • Drive the development and implementation of the product roadmap, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions.
  • Collaborate with product management and other functional teams to define requirements, prioritize projects, and manage expectations.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering organization.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and guide the adoption of new tools and frameworks as appropriate.
  • Establish and maintain engineering processes, standards, and methodologies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across the entire development lifecycle.
  • Manage the engineering budget, resource allocation, and capacity planning to meet project timelines and business objectives.
  • Provide regular updates to the executive team on engineering progress, metrics, and key performance indicators.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Required), or a Ph.D. (Preferred).
  • Proven track record of at least 15+ years in engineering leadership roles, preferably with experience in the fintech or banking industry.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in cloud-based technologies, AI, machine learning, and data analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and scaling engineering teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Deep understanding of software development methodologies, best practices, and agile principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance technical considerations and business requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to drive organizational change, foster a culture of innovation, and attract top engineering talent.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience working with compliance, security, and regulatory requirements in the banking or financial services industry is highly desirable.
