Tyfone wins Luminaries Award for innovation in mobile banking
Tyfone, a leader in digital banking solutions, won the Credit Union Times Luminaries Award for innovation in digital banking Thursday night.
At a ceremony in Orlando, Florida, the editors of the publication announced the winners of the 2024 CU Times Luminaries Awards during a gala held at the Disney Yacht Club & Resort.
Portland, Oregon-based Tyfone was nominated in four categories.
In addition to being named Luminary of the year in innovation in mobile banking, Tyfone were Luminaries in three other categories:
- CEO – Siva Narendra
- Innovation in Payments – Payfinia
- Rising Star – Josh DeTar
DeTar, Tyfone’s EVP of Evangelism, accepted the awards in person.
“This is a huge testament to the momentum of Tyfone right now, as recognized by the industry,” he said. “There was a ton of competition just to get a nomination and even more so to win. With so many other worthy applicants and nominees, we are truly humbled to be both nominated and selected.”
This year, the CU Times received nearly 200 entries in 24 categories.
Five esteemed judges from the credit union industry helped select this year’s winners.
“We’d like to thank our judges and everyone who submitted entries, the finalists and all those who attended Thursday’s event. And, of course, congratulations to the winners,” the publication said.
Earlier this year, Tyfone was named a Best Place to Work in Fintech by American Banker.
